Setting up a booth for a vendor marketing event

marketing event If you own or are starting a business, it’s only a matter of time before you are invited to participate in some sort of event that requires you to set up an informational booth. If you’ve never done this before, don’t panic! It’s a great opportunity and can be a lot of fun! Getting all the details together, especially for your first time, can be stress inducing. But don’t worry; we’ve put the basics together to help you.

Your booth doesn’t have to have all of the bells, whistles and custom table cloths, but it does need to instantly let people know what company it represents. If you don’t have time or choose not to get fancy, custom-printed goods, then a framed logo or other easily seen item with your name on it will do. Make sure it’s large enough to see from across a large room. If you’re crafty, you can DIY your sign. But remember, Wise also provides design services for all kinds of business graphic items.

Be sure that you have business cards and other informational goods to hand out. You want guests to have something from your booth to remember your business by when they leave. Flyers, brochures, rack cards and pamphlets are great ideas.

Don’t forget the goodies! Everyone loves free promo items. If you splurge on one thing, make it branded promotional items to hand out. While it is hard sometimes to give things away for free, these goodies are sure to be a hit and will remind people of your business every time they get used.
